YMCA Newport County Renovation & Expansion

As a local, family-owned business there is nothing better than working on projects that have a positive impact on the community where we live and work. With a team of fitness and squash fanatics and one former (forever) YMCA Wahoo, Sheehans was honored to partner with Gro-Dev, Vision 3 and Farrar & Associates to help deliver a complete renovation and expansion. This included a new lobby, wellness center, staff offices, gymnastics viewing lounge, Child Watch with indoor playscape, Aquatics Center, multi-purpose education/event space and a new state-of-the-art squash facility, home to Rhody Squash. Every space was designed with a focus on hospitality, flexibility, accessibility and inclusion.
